I frequently have a part I'm working on cutting out, so I need to jump quickly between the beginning and end of a selection to tweak it perfectly. Without a feature like this, then yes as Dave said, I have to zoom out, scroll horizontally, find the other side, zoom back in, adjust, test, go back, repeat.
